Glowing softly in the moonlight
I see your iridescent sheen.
I see that reflection in the soft glowing pool
Shining brightly the still water reflected back against you

Watching as you float gently away from me on a tickling breeze,
I reach my hand out in despair, calling you back
to the safety of my world.
Helplessly I watch you glide away on gentle winds
The sweet smell of honeysuckle wafting towards us
I glare off into your direction, willing you to leave,
watching hopelessly as a single leaf floats down upon your brittle surface.
A single tear sliding down my cheek as I watch my dreams shatter
Your tiny drops falling swiftly towards the glowing pond
The brilliant moon reflecting softly against your brother.
